 I completey admire this comic . Man this is so cool!!!!!!

I used to read this comic strip in "THE HINDU"  every day in the morning. I used to completely love this thing. In the beginig this dint amuse me so much, but later on (when i started understanding ) this seemed supeb!. i used to wait anxiously for the dawn to crack and the newspaper guy to deliver. At times when i dint have enough time i.e when rushing to school or college. i just used to seperate the "Metro plus " additional and read the comic srips and would leave for college.! I used to like Hagar the horrible much better than this one, later i learnt Tiger was better and in the end i felt Calvin and hobbes (C.B) was the best.!

That little monster calvin is just an amazing guy.! His mindset is so damn peculiar that he just rebukes himself(that is understood by careful observation) And the way billwater son created this effigy......! He so cool. His hairstyle, shoes, language, thoughts prevailing in him .e.t.c . savvy ???

And the next one - Hobbes is just as tigerish as one can be.....! That tigie is a grim animal. His attitude and taunting definetly tickles my funny bone...! I love the strips in which both C and H are having a conversation or a fight,.....! 

Best series one can expect is "The Babysitter" series ...! the mess they do with Rosalyn(baby sitter) is so darn irritating for any one. the sadistic pranks on her or the setaris on early bedtime adds to the flavour.! I always read with full concentration when this shows up. the next best one is when calvin is with susie. He just hate girls and on the contrary susie has him as his only friend.! (and yea hobbes likes girls a lot..! ) he plays pranks and implements evil plans on her..! "Calvins school bully" catches up next. This dude- Bill. is the school bully, whos only prey is calvin . He always gets a quater or so, gets his toys and what not, And in return our calvin is gifted a tight Punch.!

And at the last, His series with his parents, are too good. The are in  dilema about their own son.! they never get him, know his thoughts but dont know what provoked them. the one-liners or the sarcastic jokes and the settairs and punches...!  is all you expect with this one.

For this reason itself i searched the comic, as i was impatient to read the next strip on the next day. I searched in book stores, enquired with my cousins but that dint yeild any result. Later i got the blog about C&B and the owner posted links to dowload.! awesome wr8..?? without any delay i downloaded all of those and complete 'em. Now I read 11 years strips' of C&B . i can tell the continuation strip which comes in my newspaer ;) ......Now in my list next is hagar the horrible and Tiger..!

One day@Call Center

If, you are wondering that i misspelled "one night @call center"...... please drop down your speculations.

This post is about MY experience at a call center... (and yes i did not join in infosys call cneter as part-time).

i guess you are very well aware of the havoc created by the floods and the massive devastation in Andhra  Pradesh(the state in which im currently linig in). Me being a very kind hearted social-responsible  person [ ;) ] felt to do some thing...... At that right moment my cousin had signed up to do voluntery work at "Loksatta flood releif camp" and on asking what it was he said that they had setup a call centre some where close to my house. That was to receive any calls from donors. So, i too signed up for the call centre duty..!!

This being my first out door social activity i was very much excited about what to do and how would people mingle with me and most importantly i was dreaming of a computer desk i dreamt i would be seated in ....!! (though i knew that, that was an expensive project... i had the right to dream and im an expert in that field ;) ). I geared up for the big event. I was to leave at 10.30am the next day morning after receiving a conformatary call from my cousin. the previous night i slept at 12.00pm after having a chat with my other cousin.

Next day: after reaching destination i noticed that it was actually a mini softare firm and that office was given to the party as party office.I went inside after having directions from my cousin, inside i noticed that there were 3 systems and people occupied them doing data entry, and there were about 7 phone on the other side which were already occupied except for one. I took seat and my cousin  told me what to do.... just take the calls enter name, ph no, their place, and what they want to donate.and give them the instructions on how to help financially..  i got it.

The place is packed with volunteers and party people all buzzing like bees.When a call came all the phones rang and we had to pick up the piece in front of us. To first one who picks up the lucky caller gets the call. After trying a few beeped calls. At last i received my first call : the speaker said he wanted to support ficancially and took details of him and when he said he called from singapore i was surprised  wow my first call.. my first international call. i handed the call to an senior over there and he handeled it . meticuously that was the first intl call of the day too..  wow im on cloud9.  the same story continued with a little changes in the script (only about the details of the caller). and so on it was lunch time. I came home for lunch , i rushed through my meal and left.... i went to some other place for some time if your wondering what ... it was gaming center which i usually visit every sunday. Later i went back to the call centre and did the job angain.

Though not so delighting it was quite a thrilling experince and fun stuff. some of the calls i received were extremely funny and some were extremely buggin me..! It was a sweet and sour experience. If you want to know about those experiences,i think ill post it later as i think i already wrote a novel about the day.But i was making evil plans:  i will flaunt about this and also add some salt&pepper to it.  i am now ahead of many people by being a step forward  from others by already haing a proffesional experience in a call center...!!! hahahahah !!!! im gr8 . awesome. pride of my college..!!!! I'll hear people calling "ALL HAIL MASTER VAIBHAV"...

But seriously i consider it as an profitable activity by working with people you have never met before. !

And helping the needy ... by fetching donor ( Bcoz i too made some back calls and asked them to donate). 

And I feel very happy for that once in a lifetime exerience.! I'll never forget those calls some people made .....! I realized that people arent so bad after al..  we had 2000 calls from different national and international places willing to donate and some ready to go there and help physically.! and some heart rending calls when senior aged people got ready to donate pension and their clothes. Some bank employees ready to donate one months salary, I rice mill owner reay to supply hundreds of  kilos of rice to the affected..!(and many more)...! may they have a long life.!

I always keep wondering ....... how do every one blog so frequently???????

I mean i was so enthu to start a blog and post every day but after finishing the first step now im BLANK with 0 ideas in my mind.

I see my  blog visitor count increasing at a good rate. And that falls as a big surprise for me. This is such a dumb blog how would people like to waste time reading my blog???????? They can read any shit instead. I dont mean you people should stop visiting my blog -- DONT EVEN DARE TO DO THAT. I mean i started this blog for people that was just what i think and i kinda feel awkward..




I see my cousins blog always with a new post. i dont understand how does he manage to do that??? I dont get any topic to chuff about.but with my sub-intelligent mind i managed to convert that into a new post. hats off !!!!!!!. And i think im also going to put up a rating tool in the side pan to measure how distastrous and lame it is. i guess i'll flunk from my introductory post it self .



I actually think of various things to post but i stop telling my self  "let that work be completed and i will write".but that never gets completed or some times i just forget to write about that.That is currently going on with one of my ideas, i have started a thing and that is still in progress(that is very confidential and important.) im doing that for the first time and hoping to success in it. I'm sure ill post  about that when the work is complete. 

So, i end the post as it is raining and we are vulnerable to a power cut .

Holi(y)-dAys-----Yeii!!!!!!!!

You should be guessing by now... this post is because of geting "holidays due to  holy days". The dussera festival is here with loads of holidays.

10 days of "College-free" days is like a big boon for us (Private Jr. colleges). Were out of the day schedule,The sat and mon day's tests, the sadism of our J.L {Jr.Lecturer (Section Incharge)},V.P (Vice Pricie), P (Princie), and some common staff. The classes which are like concentration camps will be empty handed.Though that is all one side, The other side of the coin is better half... the chat and fights with friends, the teasing , the exam tension and thrill, The lunch session, sleeping session during classes ;), The evening stroll after college ......... a long break for all the above is ofcourse sad but its O.K.

But all after this the story doesn't have a happy end....... Along with the note of the holidays we were also dictated the daily working schedule! 200 bits in AIEEE per subject (4 sub's in all) per day... that makes approximately 700 bits a day. (i noe 200x4=800, but Math IIA sir graceful enough to give 100 bits a day.!). Along with this we get a lottery of completing the Lab record task.. each record has 20 exp's nd they are sooooo long and the diagrams are so complicated that i may be needing Da Vinci's assistance :) .(That might be because im very poor in drawing!My artistic skills Suk To The Core) .

Before the official announcement  of holidays our chem sir broke the suspense during his period. From that days onwards I was building my own plan, what all Books to study (Academic and Non-Academic), How many hours should be allocated to C.S and how much to blogger and F.B.. When it was show time our Math IIB sir walked in and Announced about the day plan ... At that time i thought only one thing: W.T.F?.. I had helll of plans i thought to complete at least 2-3 non academic useful books.But somehow i adjusted to the news(Though it was so hard.i was cornered).

So, Now i have to sign off since i did not my 2-days of working schedule..! and i wrote only 2 exp's ! That means it would be better writing in my book rather than in my blog...

Alas -- My first book..... COMPLETED!!

Sixteen years after being dumped into the world.... today --`the third day of september 2009` I have completed my first novel.....! My immense victory. It feels great, When i was reading the last page of the book I almost felt my heart pounding to complete and then blog about it.. Bragg to the world about my accomplishment.! I was literally dashing through the last few lines of the book. And if you were wondering which book it might be, i was reading the ageold but intrestin--- "The Da Vince Code"-Dan Brown. The one my bro bought from footpath outside the kings palace in Mysore.

All these years reading books was my passion, thogh i never even read 50 pages! I loved to read a book but was too lazzy..Who would read 400 pages of miniatured text????... but i knew readings these books proves worthy. The last book i read was "Are you afraid of the dark"-Sidneysheldon. I read about first 4-5 chanpters before i lost the book. But this time i was adamant about my decsicion to complete a book at any cost.. and here i am.... 480 pages of small font black and white book with no pictures(except for few ssymbols).. I feel PROUD.

I guess it took me 25days to complete my job, as th rate of reading is one hour a day i took soo long but from the middle of the book i started to read fast and alloted more time for this work.I guess i can do better in that feild..

I have a long list of books that i want to read. But i am goiing to start wid "Rich Dad, Poor Dad"-Robert Kiyosaki because my father insisted that i read this book first and then proceed to the further list.. Later i Think go through "Angels and demons" or some other book in my shelf.

But at the end the best thing is that i have learnt a lot from reading. especailly this book let it be about symbols or the vocabulary or about palces... They are all useful crap!

Counter-strike 1.6

For a long time i've been playin counter-strike--C.S. I know there are many more CS freaks out there and many are dangerously good in playing that game. They are "Pro's" as it said in the gaming world. This thing first started at my cousins place where i was fascinated to see all those guns and dressed military people. My passion towards Violence , Wars , Destruction , Killing and that "Cool weapons" only added towards my interest towards the game. I immediately bought a CD and burned the game at highest speed .. unfortunately i wasn't burned properly and hence my dreams collapsed..

Later after a break of about 1 year in my 9th class i got the game and will the same enthusiasm i had the previous year i Played...!! Later i was serious about winning .. I just dint play i was gamming..

In my 10th class i learnt that my Friends too were playin the very same game and due to our interest towards the game we wanted to play together in opposite teams.So we frequently visited gaming parlours, my Friend knew one close to my house . later we discovered many more Centres to play it. We ran to those places when ever we got a little bit of time.

The graphics in the game are awesome and i realised this only when i started playin out, as my system dint have a good configuration and in home i was playnig "condition zero " whereas i was playing "1.6" in the gaming centres.In my Intermediate IInd year now i have made it a rule and tradition to visit "Game-world" or "Gamplex" for once a week on Sunday(we almost ffollowed it like a tradition.!). I go there with 4 of my Friends who too are crazzy about that game. Now i guess i play far better than how i used to in my 9th class :) which is so obvious!

Untill the recent past i dint know why was it counter-strike "1.6" and not any other number?? but i think i have cracked the code.. when i was reading "The DaVici Code" i came across a number 1.618 which was reffered to as a divine and magical number in that book and i believed that that was true so i stteled for that reason and patted my back.

Intially i played with my own name by just changing the font :: V@IBHAV but now becomin serious bout gamin i coined a new name for me :: `dEATH pREIST`. which sounds so cool and terriffyin ! i also play wid the names "Crazzy Chicken" or "F**K" some times based on the place and the people with whom im playin wid!

After a looong break actually im bloggin again..... Luck you!
Though this is only my second blog i just so enthusiastic about it as if im geting paid for it.I actually took a oath to blog regularly so that my people would just keep updating their views about me and i can practice typing too....!!

Actually im blogging to get familiar about INTERNET. So in the Next post ill narrate incidents;My feelings;Ancedots or some thing... Hopefully I'll post within the next few minutes. I ensure you i will regularly Blog...
